They started at the end of the 90´s in Madrid. Vetusta Morla – name from the giant turtle of Michael Ende´s “Neverending story”, took almost 10 years to release their first work, “Un día en el mundo”. But it has been worth to wait. This is one of the best pop-rock works released in many years. With guitars influenced by the best of Radiohead, sticky melodies, an amazing live sound and very personal and worked lyrics, Vetusta Morla has become, through their own talent, one of the best revelations of the music scene of 2008-2009. A young band with very clear ideas - they keep self-editing their music. Hopefully, for many years to come.
