What else can I take?
Will the festival have ...?
The camping area opens on Wednesday at 12:00am | The site opens on Thursday at 09:00am whether it’s raining or not.
Your wristband must be worn at all times. | Wristbands will not be valid if they have been manipulated or modified.
Timetables can change | Tickets can be purchased at official sale points.
The festival is for all ages. Ages eight and under get free admission. | Parking is not permitted under any circumstances.

What’s the best time to arrive?
Definitely try to get there a few hours early. Please be ready for delays if you decide to not follow signposts and festival staff indications. Consider using the festivals transport service if you wish to come and go quickly.
Can I walk to the festival area?
Yes, but we do recommend using the free festival buses.
What time does it end?
The festival ends at approximately 06:00am.
Will you announce set times in advance?
Yes. Set times will be announced right here, 10 to 15 days before the festival. Times will also be found on the festival guide you can pick up on arrival.
Is it hot or cold up there?
What do you do to guarantee my safety during the festival?
We are working in collaboration with the local police department, the Ertzaintza and a number of other local departments, to ensure your visit to the festival is as safe as possible.

Are you recruiting volunteer workers for the festival?
No. But thanks for asking.
Can I pass out flyers / promotional material inside? What about outside?
No. Please try to use less paper. And by the way, that promotional strategy is very over-valued; we say this in light of our own experience.
How can I sell my food? Can I rent a stand? I have questions!
We aren’t looking for more suppliers at the moment. There is no waiting list either. Any changes to this will be announced here; there is no need to email us to ask.
Can I use passes, wristbands or the Bilbao BBK Live name to promote my website, product or event?
No. The Bilbao BBK Live trademark, intellectual property, passes and wristbands may NOT be used for advertising, promotions, contests, draws or any other commercial purpose. The only exception is for the festival’s official sponsors (and even they need formal written authorization from the festival producers).
Can I sell products or services outside the festival area or camping site?
If you do not have the festivals permission you will be committing a crime and your items will be confiscated.
What about my medicine? Can diabetics take insulin in to the festival?
Identify yourself to security when entering the festival area. Our security team must check that all medical prescriptions and names on medical containers match the persons proper ID. Medical related items (including food) that are otherwise not available in the festival area may be brought with you as long as you bring a medical note that details the necessity for the item or items.
Can I bring a water gun?
Sorry, not in the festival area, but you can bring them to the camping site.
Can I bring a pushchair?
Yes, if it’s for a baby of course.
How big is a medium rucksack? What should I do if it’s bigger?
A medium rucksack is no larger than 50cm high, 40cm wide and 25cm full. Bags should fit in to a box of that size, similar to the system used in airports. If your bag doesn’t fit in the box you will not be aloud in with it.
What is considered a professional camera?
Any camera with a removable lens is considered professional.
Can I take vaporizers o e-cigs?
You can if they are one use only.
Medium size E-CIGS and vaporizers are ok, but you will not be able to enter refills.
APV or Mods are not aloud in the festival area, but you can use them on the camping site.
WILL THE FESTIVAL
Will I find vegetarian or vegan food? What about gluten-free?
Yes. All of that and more! Gluten-free food, fresh fruit, you’ll find everything except kosher.
Will I be able to find the security team if I need them?
Yes! no problem we promise you.
Will there be cashpoints?
Yes, inside the festival area and on the camping site.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we accept credit cards, but we do recommend having cash on you as we do suffer connectivity/Internet issues sometimes.
Are there lockers in the festival area?
There are a very limited number of lockers for rent. Reserve in advance (More information soon).
Are there any covered areas in case of rain? Will we all fit?
May be… there will be a number of shade structures.
Is there a lost property office or stand?

if you have any questions. Please try to have visible information on how to contact you on your phone, and take a picture of your contact information in case of losing things. Put a business card in your bag or purse so we can contact you if we find it.
Will there be First Aid professionals?
Yes, ambulances will be in a visible area in the festival. They will be clearly specified on the festival guide.
Will there be a map of the festival available in time for us to see where the camping site and stages are?
Yes. 5 or 6 days before the festival. These locations will also be found on the festival guide given out at the main entrance. The map could be subject to change.
Will I be able to charge my phone at the festival?
The only available plugs will be to charge smartphones; they will be located at the locker stand.
