Bilbao BBK Live: Top 10 highlights from an electrifying second day
Grace Jones, Underworld, Khruangbin, Meute, Parcels, Ezra Collective, Overmono lead a line-up full of gems and memorable moments
After a great start yesterday, today marked the second day of this edition of Bilbao BBK Live, where once again, the infinite emotions generated by live music were experienced in the spectacular setting of Kobetamendi Mountain.
TOP 10 MOMENTS FROM DAY TWO:
1. Grace Jones finally makes her iconic presence felt at Bilbao BBK Live, marking a milestone in late ’70s dance music and one of the most eagerly anticipated performances of this edition.

2. MEUTE’s electrifying street band ensures non-stop fun. The energy from these eleven musicians from Hamburg hypnotizes the audience, making everyone move to their rhythm.

4. The festival vibe in the streets of Bilbao with Bereziak. San Miguel Arenal stages featured Parquesvr and La Habitación Roja, St. Petroni Jardines de Albia hosted Chancha Vía Circuito and Repion, and Vueling Torres Isozaki showcased Kyne and Oddliquor. Bereziak offers free concerts, expanding the musical experience beyond Kobetamendi, in collaboration with Fundación Industrias Creativas and Bilbao BBK Live.

The festival continues tomorrow, Saturday, with Bereziak’s programming in the city, followed by Kobetamendi featuring a lineup of stellar names such as Arcade Fire, Jungle, Alvvays, Floating Points, Noname, El Columpio Asesino, Lewis OfMan, Slowdive, CHALK, Kiasmos, and Alcalá Norte. The day culminates with a spectacular closing led by Bitxeando, Bilbao’s most successful indie afternoon event, with its godmother Inés Hernand alongside founder DJ Daniless, and featuring David Van Bylen with his unique mixes. Not to be missed is the farewell of John Talabot, who has been instrumental in the festival’s ceremonial closings and will return for the fifth and final time to transform Basoa’s forest into one of Europe’s most exclusive and immersive dance floors.
