Sama Yax

Sama Yax is a born collector. For starters, she collects origins: oscillating between Mexico and Bilbao, currently based in Barcelona, she has been on a quest for 32 years. She collects records of course, especially disco, Latin, afrobeat, house, Brazilian music, and jazz ones. She also collects experiences: being a resident of the legendary Barcelona club Nitsa, forming part of the Discos Paradiso family, and having taken her sets to festivals like SoundEat! Being that she has also passed through halls like Freedonia and parties like Goze and Baang we could say she collects matter. Bilbao BBK Live’s forest will have the pleasure of hearing the DJ’s secret sounds and influences she has collected on her quest.
